Taxi’s are by far the most efficient way to travel in Dubai. To order a taxi in Dubai call 042080808 or flag one down on the roadside. Fares start at Dhs3 (around 40p) if you flag one down or Dhs6 if you book in advance.
Also, please note, many taxi’s do not carry change so try to ensure you have smaller notes with you.
Rush hours tend to be between 8-10am, 1-3pm and 6-9pm
